On November 6, 2021, we were thrilled to take the stage on the National Mall to present the charitable gift to the American Heart Association at the kickoff of the Greater Washington Heart Walk. We are so thankful to our family, friends, board, and colleagues around the country who helped make this donation possible. We look forward to continuing our mission in providing education, awareness, and resources for many years to come.
Our Purpose & Mission
Honoring the legacy of Kurt Walter Rieschick, the Fund is dedicated to raising awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), a national public health crisis. Our mission is to educate individuals on the importance of bystander intervention with CPR and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in an effort to improve SCA survival rates.
